About the USMC
Lima 3rd 9th Marine Corps Group
We classify ourselves as a veterans group whose purpose is to promote the interests and preserve the traditions
of the U. S. Marine Corps; assist our fellow Marines, their widows and participate in various patriotic ceremonies. This group
is organized under the prior active duty members of Lima 3/9.
The
group is comprised of honorably discharged USMC prior duty personnel and their spouses. Those individuals that want to participate
with the group should contact our web administrator with your name, email and contact information so it can be forwarded to
the appropriate person to reply to your needs or concerns.
The Lima 3/9 Mission Statement: Members of Lima 3/9 join together in
camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine
Corps and those who have been honorably discharge from that service; voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines
and former Marines and to their family, and by perpetuating the history of the United States Marine Corps through fitting
acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
